TACS Events for 2010 (Open to non-TACS Members)

September 25th Antique Tile Fair in Nottingham (Open to non-TACS Members) BRING BUY SELL OR SWAP The fair will be held at St. Jude's Church Hall, Mapperley, Nottingham NG3 5HE. This is one mile north from the city centre on the B684 Woodborough Road off the A60 or from the A60 Sherwood up Mapperly Hall Drive past mini roundabout to T Junction - turn left to St. Jude's 50 yards on left.

TACS Events for 2010 (TACS Members Only)

March 13 – Visit to the Private Tile Collection

April 17 - Visit to the Potteries Museum  & Art Gallery, Stoke on Trent
We will be allowed to see the reserve collection of tiles at the Potteries Museum & Art Gallery in Hanley under the guidance of one of their curators. This will be combined with a visit to the Wedgwood Museum. (Maximum numbers 20)

May 8 - Visit to West Kirby and Port Sunlight View Photos
A combined visit to see the Doulton tile panels in West Kirby Residential School and the terracotta, chimney stacks and chimney pots of Port Sunlight. ((Maximum numbers 20)

June 12/13 - Weekend in Hull and Hornsea
A two day visit, sampling the many tile/terracotta delights in Hull on Saturday and on Sunday visiting  Farrago, the grade II listed tiled private house in Hornsea, which is celebrating its centenary in 2010.

July 3 TACS AGM in Birmingham.  The AGM will take place in the morning at Birmingham City Museum and Art Gallery. After lunch there will be an opportunity to see the excellent tile and ceramics collection on display at the museum and walk round the interesting tile/terracotta sites in Birmingham city centre.

TACS events are generally open to TACS members only and can only be applied for using the appropriate TACS events booking form.
