TACS Database
TACS members have identified around 6,000 examples of high quality tile and architectural ceramic work located in Britain. This information has been used to compile a comprehensive, computerised national database of sites of tiles, terracotta and faience panels, architectural detailing, and indeed whole buildings featuring these products.

Arranged by county, the text is written in narrative form with all the highlights of each area described, dated and attributed wherever possible. In order to support historical research in the field of British-made decorative tiles and architectural ceramics, the Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society (TACS) is offering grants of up to £1,000 to suitable applicants.
