This index incorporates two previous accumulative indexes (one compiled
in 1989 and one in 1995). The work on this fully combined index covering
entries in Glazed Expressions and the TACS
Journal from 1981 to 2006 has
been undertaken by Carolyn Wraight and Pat van Lemmen.
- Glazed Expressions entries have issue and page numbers only.
- Journal entries are indicated by ‘J’ followed by page numbers.
- Buildings are entered under towns (British) or national headings (buildings abroad). Churches, Houses, etc are also entered under a generic heading.
- Book Reviews are entered by author under the heading ‘Book Reviews’ and by topic e.g. Public houses.
- Living people are entered in italics.
- Information on individuals is given in brackets where possible
- Names of British manufacturers are entered independently, but: foreign manufacturers are entered under the country of origin.
